Many homeowners should inspect and clean their gutters at least twice a year, typically in spring and fall. Homes surrounded by mature trees may need more frequent attention. Even homes without large trees can accumulate roof debris, seeds, dirt, and other material in gutters. At minimum, inspect them periodically to make sure they’re draining properly.
