I just installed a new well water pressure tank in Florida. If anyone has problems with their well pump short cycling hit me up here, in this case you can tell the tank was bad by checking the air valve on top of the pressure tank. If water comes out, the bladder inside the tank has leaked and let water in. Simple DIY fix, but you should, also replace the pressure switch and pressure gauge, also simple enough for the average homeowner to do him or herself. Not necessary but recommended, if you need your water back quick just replace the old tank. Very affordable at Home Depot.
